The Matter of The Heart
Light Up Lancaster is one of my favourite events in our local calendar. Not just the sense of community and beautiful bustling dark evenings in the city, but I absolutely love seeing the art installations all lit up. I have been fortunate enough to see some incredible installations by some great artists over the years, so I was delighted to be invited to get involved with one of them for Light Up 2024.
GROTTO Submission
This week was the deadline for the GROTTO prints, which I was able to finalise and submit yesterday. I became a little worried towards the deadline as I didn’t feel completely happy with the final development of my cyanotypes, but got there in the end thankfully!

The Opening of ICONS
Preparations for the ICONS exhibition were hard work, to say the least. One of the things that really struck me, was so many things that were sacrificed in order to achieve what I wanted to with the exhibition. It made me question whether it was all worth it. Time will tell.
