Halloween Fundraiser

The completed painting on the easel.

Earlier this week I announced a competition on my social media, which gave folk the opportunity to win an original painting of Joker that I created. The competition was simultaneously raising money on gofundme for a project which hopes to provide art workshops to young people in care or non-mainstream education throughout the district of Lancaster & Morecambe.

Any donation to the fundraiser would automatically enter people into a competition to win the painting, and people who donated £10 or more would also receive a free A4 print of it.

On Halloween I put all the names into an online Wheel and did a random draw which I recorded and published.

By the end of Halloween we had raised £252 and work will now begin on securing venues and materials for the workshops.

The final A4 print ready to send to donors.
