Unit 3 – 5 minute video

Putting my film together was more difficult than I expected. Choosing which images and footage I wanted to include was one of the harder parts, then the order and how I wanted to emphasise the sound clips. There was certainly far more media I would have liked to show, so it was a huge task to narrow it all down.

Typically, I had a sore throat when it came to doing the voiceover, so that played on my mind while recording, but I was happy with how it sounded in the end. I would have liked to talk more about what led to my current body of work and how it has impacted me, but I hope it gives the audience an insight into my journey so far.

In contrast to my 3 minute film for Unit 2, I felt this was much more succinct and it is clear how far I have come with my practice in the last 6 months. I’m looking forward to curating my blog now and bringing everything together.
