Much of the research and reading I have been doing lately, has come up with similar terms, encouraging me to think further about the direction of my practice. Images of raw materials, concrete, undecorated walls, demolition sites etc.

I had vague ideas, but after much thought recently, I have realised more clearly that these are all strong metaphors for the many injustices in the world.

I hope to peel away the iron curtain, so to speak, with my art practice to help uncover the truth within our fragile communities.
